What We Collect

When you use Memonara, we collect the following information:

• Account information: your email address, collected through Google OAuth or magic link sign-in.
• Course and note content: course names, lecture notes, and attached files you create within the platform.
• AI-generated output: summaries, flashcards, quizzes, concept maps, and study materials generated from your notes.
• Basic usage data: timestamps of actions, feature usage patterns, and device type. We do not use third-party analytics trackers.

How We Use Your Data

• Provide and operate the Memonara platform, including AI-powered study material generation.
• Improve AI features and the quality of generated study materials.
• Authenticate your account and secure your data.
• Communicate with you about your account or service changes.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

Memonara does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes. Your notes and study materials are yours.

AI Processing

Your lecture notes are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI to generate study materials. Notes are sent to the AI only when you explicitly request analysis. We do not use your notes to train AI models.

Data Storage

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure (hosted on AWS in US and EU regions). All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We use row-level security policies to ensure you can only access your own data.

Data Retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data — notes, courses, AI-generated content, and account information — is permanently deleted.

Account Deletion

To request full deletion of your account and all associated data, email hello@obimosolutions.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request.” We will process your request within 7 business days.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase — authentication and database
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI analysis of your notes
• Google OAuth — sign-in authentication
• Vercel — hosting and deployment

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
